In this program of art song spanning over 300 years, we will pursue the many facets of love: the happy budding of romance, moody and dark infatuation, loyalty to friend and nation, loss of love, and more. We will include composers such as Purcell, Handel, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and Barber, as well as modern compositions by Mason, Skidmore, and Crane. Please join us for this one-time-only performance in a lovely acoustic! Children are welcome, free of charge. Recital will last approximately one hour.
